Benchmark plans your website around your business and the decisions your customers need to make. We agree the scope, build the website, review it with you, verify the approved customer paths and search setup, then launch with clear ownership and support arrangements.
Start with your business and your customers
A useful website begins with understanding what you sell, who you serve and what customers need to know before contacting you. We review your services, service area, business information, existing website and the questions your team hears most often.
This planning helps us choose the pages and features that fit your business. Your written quote identifies content allowances, responsibilities, revisions, timing and payment terms before work begins.
Build around the way people make decisions
Customers arrive at different stages. Some are researching, some want evidence that you can help, and others are ready to ask about a project. The website should give each visitor a useful next action.
Service pages explain what you do. Authorized project photos and customer reviews can demonstrate your work. A Knowledge Center can answer questions, while Ask an Expert and NextStep can help visitors start a conversation. Features depend on the agreed package and scope.
We connect these elements through navigation and relevant links so the visitor can move from a question to supporting information and an inquiry. A website cannot guarantee a sale, but it can make that path clearer.
How design, code and development tools fit together
Your website combines page structure, design, written content, images and code. We tailor the business information, branding and customer paths to your company. Reliable reusable components help maintain consistency without carrying another customer's identity or private data into your website.
AI-assisted tools can help with drafting, coding and exploring design options. Their output still needs human review, accurate business information and checks against the agreed requirements. Using a tool does not establish that a website is accurate, accessible or ready to launch.
You supply or approve the business facts, photos and claims used on the site. Custom integrations, inventory tools and other connections are included only when identified in your approved scope.
Review the website together before publishing
You review the proposed design, content and customer experience, then request revisions within the agreed allowance. We confirm outstanding content, approvals and account access before scheduling launch.
Your review matters because you know your business. It helps catch inaccurate descriptions, outdated details or a contact process that would not work for your team. New pages, features or integrations beyond the approved scope require an agreed change.
Verify the website before and after launch
We review navigation, mobile layouts, contact paths, business identity and search settings for the approved build. Forms need a confirmed destination, and the website should guide visitors to the intended page or action.
Launch verification includes applicable checks on the live domain and a documented report showing what was checked, what needs correction and what remains unresolved. Production connections must be verified in their agreed scope; a demonstration is not evidence that a customer integration works.
Search foundations such as page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, sitemap entries and structured business information help describe the website consistently. These checks do not guarantee rankings, AI recommendations or inquiries.
Understand ownership and ongoing responsibilities
You register and own your domain and business accounts. Your business data belongs to you from production launch and is stored in your own Azure account, billed directly to you. Benchmark hosts the website and backend during the website payment period.
After payoff, the standard handoff of website code and hosting/backend to your accounts is included with no additional transfer fee. Domain renewals, hosting and other agreed provider charges remain ongoing responsibilities. The accepted agreement defines the deliverables and applicable third-party licenses.
Ongoing Benchmark care is optional. Your selected service determines the included updates, monitoring and review work. Enhanced and Enhanced Plus include the specified 90-day AI Visibility & Accuracy program; continued paid monitoring is optional.
Why Benchmark uses this process
The goal is a website your customers can understand and your business can use with confidence. Planning sets the purpose. Connected content supports customer decisions. Review checks the business facts. Verification checks the delivered experience. Clear ownership explains what happens afterward.
Start with a website conversation. We confirm the scope, approach, estimated timing and price before you approve work; a paid audit is not required to discuss a website.
