A poultice is an absorbent paste used to draw stains from pores in natural stone.
The absorbent material is combined with cleaning chemistry selected for the stain type. The paste is applied, covered or left open as directed, allowed to work, and then removed. Multiple applications may be required. The wrong chemistry can spread the stain or damage the stone, so professional guidance is recommended for valuable or sensitive surfaces.
