Choosing the Right Flooring
Select Daltile mosaics by material, mesh backing, grout-joint size, wet-area rating, traction, maintenance, and compatibility with the surrounding tile.
Mosaics may contain ceramic, porcelain, glass, stone, metal, or mixed materials. A mosaic approved for a backsplash may not be suitable for a shower floor or submerged application. Sheet alignment should be reviewed during installation to avoid visible grid lines. Natural stone may require sealing, while glass and metal require compatible mortars.
