BENCHMARK REFERRAL REWARD

Referral Program Terms

Effective October 1, 2026. These terms apply to the customer referral reward described on the Benchmark Local Boost website.

Reward

An eligible referrer may receive a reward equal to 10% of the first collected one-time implementation charge paid by the referred customer, up to $250. If the eligible service has no one-time implementation charge, Benchmark may calculate the reward from the first collected monthly service payment, subject to the same $250 maximum.

The referrer may choose a credit toward future Benchmark services or an available digital gift card. Rewards are not cash, are not transferable, and have no cash-redemption value.

Eligible referral

  • The referred customer must be a new Benchmark lead and not already recorded in Benchmark’s active pipeline or introduced by another source.
  • The referral must be identified before the referred customer accepts a quote or service agreement.
  • The referred customer must purchase an eligible Benchmark service beyond an audit, such as corrective implementation, listing work, a landing page, website improvements, an Enhanced Website, monitoring, or another approved implementation or ongoing service.
  • Paid audits by themselves do not qualify.

When the reward is earned

The reward becomes eligible only after Benchmark receives the qualifying customer payment, the payment clears, and 30 days have passed without cancellation, chargeback, refund, or material payment dispute. Benchmark will verify eligibility before issuing the reward.

Important limitations

  • No self-referrals or referrals between accounts controlled by the same person or business.
  • Only one referrer may receive a reward for each new customer.
  • A referral reward is separate from the referred customer’s Paid Audit Credit and is not deducted from that customer’s agreement.
  • The reward cannot be combined with an affiliate commission, professional referral-partner payment, or another referral promotion unless Benchmark approves it in writing.
  • Taxes or reporting obligations associated with a reward are the recipient’s responsibility.

Administration

Benchmark may reasonably verify the referral source, qualifying service, collected revenue, and eligibility period. Benchmark may deny duplicate, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise ineligible referrals. Program changes apply prospectively and will not remove a reward already earned under the terms in effect when eligibility was completed.

Professional partners who regularly refer customers may apply for the separate Professional Referral Partner Program, which is governed by a written Referral Partner Agreement instead of this customer reward.
