Porcelain slabs are large ceramic panels manufactured under high heat and pressure. The printed design can reproduce marble, stone, concrete, and metal. Some products carry the visual only on the surface, so exposed edges may require a mitered or finished detail. Porcelain performs well around sunlight and can be suitable outdoors when the complete installation is approved. Fabricator experience, transportation, sink cutouts, edge construction, and slab support are especially important.
