Choosing the Right Flooring
Countertops are normally installed before backsplash tile so the tile can be fitted accurately to the finished counter.
The countertop establishes the final height and wall gap. Backsplash tile then begins above the counter with a small movement joint sealed with flexible material rather than rigid grout. Cabinets are installed before countertop templating. Painting and wall repair may occur before or after the countertop depending on the project schedule.

Cabinet reinforcement may be required for heavy slabs, sinks, appliances, overhangs, or weak and modified cabinetry.
