Benchmark Materials Studio · Website review
Behind the Website
The public pages are the part customers see. Reliable information, controlled publishing and explicit responsibility make that experience maintainable.
One coherent information structure
Business records
Core remains the estimating master when connected. Website imports preserve Core IDs while excluding costs, prices, staff-only fields and inventory.
Why it matters: Consistent source information reduces conflicting details across pages.
Connected customer context
Each material connects to an illustrative room example, guide and showroom association. The business inquiry link uses the existing approved Benchmark inquiry pathway; no inquiry is sent by catalog browsing.
Why it matters: A relevant question or selection gives the team a better place to begin.
Content ownership
A website administrator approves product content and rights before publishing a version. The company must separately verify each actual product and connection.
Why it matters: The site stays useful when someone is responsible for accuracy after launch.
Publishing and administration
The protected Product Catalog workspace uses existing website_admin authentication and private Blob storage. It supports JSON/CSV and Core company export imports, draft editing, public preview, version publication and rollback. Customer catalogs default inactive; only this fictional demonstration is enabled.
GitHub preserves the versioned website source; Azure serves this review experience. Hosting does not by itself activate customer storage, protected administration, inquiry delivery or any third-party connection.
Search, performance and usable pages
Search and sharing foundations
Clear page topics, unique metadata, useful internal links and accurate business information help people and services understand the content. Final-domain canonicals, redirects, sitemap and indexing policy need launch verification.
Why it matters: These are foundations, not ranking or AI-recommendation guarantees.
Optimized images
Responsive compressed images, stable dimensions and appropriate loading priority keep useful photography practical on smaller screens.
Why it matters: Preserve the image delivery pipeline whenever photographs change.
Accessible interaction
Readable layouts, keyboard navigation, meaningful headings, visible focus and labeled fields support more visitors.
Why it matters: Screening and manual checks are needed on each important journey; the existence of these features is not certification.
Choose an implementation arrangement
Approved content handoff
Prepare copy, images and metadata for an existing website platform. Confirm what that platform can reproduce.
Why it matters: Content delivery does not automatically transfer interactive applications.
Selected integration
Connect an agreed feature to an existing system through a verified API or supported component.
Why it matters: Define record ownership, permissions, error handling and support before activation.
Complete hosted implementation
Use the approved website, content tools and connections together on the agreed domain.
Why it matters: Define hosting, updates, storage, backups, account handoff and ongoing responsibilities in the approved scope.
Who does what
The business approves identity, claims, services, media rights, contact destinations and scope. The website team prepares and implements the agreed experience, documents configuration and checks the result. Each integration needs a named owner for credentials, access, support and ongoing accuracy.
