Choosing the Right Flooring
The countertop, backsplash, sill, trim, and window height should be measured together before fabrication.
A low window may require the countertop to extend into the sill or stop beneath existing trim. Wall and sill irregularities can create visible gaps around rigid slab material. A stone or quartz sill can coordinate with the countertop but requires additional fabrication. Window operation, water exposure, casing removal, and future replacement should be considered.
