Choosing the Right Flooring
The countertop should bridge the dishwasher opening with support from adjoining cabinets, cleats, brackets, or structural rails.
The dishwasher should not carry the countertop weight or provide primary slab support. Stone and quartz may require a cabinet-to-cabinet support rail, particularly near seams or narrow counter sections. The dishwasher must remain removable for service. Mounting clips should attach to approved cabinet or countertop supports without damaging the slab.
