Choose an anchor
Begin with one material you love, such as oak or a warm stone tone. Let its undertones guide adjoining surfaces instead of selecting every finish independently.
Balance contrast and repetition
Repeat a small number of tones across connected rooms. Contrast can define an island or an opening, but too many unrelated accents compete for attention.
Review real samples
Screens cannot reliably represent color, scale or texture. View physical samples together and consider maintenance before making a final selection.
